I’m 41, work as a hospital nurse and have four sons.
I have learned to love running in the mountains, and that’s where I generally prefer to be active. It’s especially ultra-distance competitions that appeal to me. I enjoy running and the associated feeling that each race can be an adventure may it be small or a great. The run is its own reward and it’s a wonderful present to cover distance after distance. Now fast and full of ambition, now slow, then longer, then shorter distances: Just as a mother’s everyday life allows.
Each ultra in the mountains was a highlight for me: the Piz Alpine Glacier, the Sachsen Trail, the Mozart 100 and many more. The craziest event so far for me has been taking part in the Mount Everest Marathon 2017 in Radebeul, where I came in second.
Why I am a 7CRun Ambassador:
As I mainly run in natural environments and hence can say with certainty that nature gives you strength, I’m glad that consequently part of the donations goes to nature.
