Thomas Witteberg

About me:

I’m Tommy and I’ve been attached to running for more than four years now. In my youth I played a lot of football in a club and the running units were a horror. Today I appreciate nature when running, “getting my head free”, networking and interacting with other runners. I like to participate in running events and enjoy this special atmosphere among runners.
My favourite distance is the half marathon. But in 2018 I ran my first marathon in Cologne, Berlin and again Cologne were following in 2019.
I especially love being able to combine running with traveling, and I hope to collect some running travel highlights again next year.

My absolute running highlight was the Berlin Marathon 2019, which I finished in my desired time of under 3:45h. Unforgotten is surely the first marathon of each runner. I also remember many, many half marathons like Barcelona, Riga, Copenhagen, Gothenburg, Amsterdam or Monterey Bay (California).

Why I am a 7CRun Ambassador:

Especially when running, you can achieve a lot of good things with just a few means. The running community is a very committed one and I am always happy to get in contact with other runners and exchange ideas with like-minded people. Furthermore, I like to have the opportunity to do good by running – not only for myself, but also for other people.
